“Communication and Solitude” – Solo exhibition of Louisa Kakissi

The theme of the exhibition is Communication and Loneliness, presented through everyday human relationships, buildings and landscapes. In a variety of images different from each other, expressing the same excruciating central idea: The loneliness of today’s people and the effort to communicate with each other, with the environment and with nature, seen through windows of houses and buses and in landscapes, in which loneliness is reflected. Symbols such as cafe chairs and tables, windows and doors, buildings, night lights, inner light and darkness, people alone and in groups, are repeated in various ways. At the intersection between representation and abstraction, in a poetic, dreamy and mystical atmosphere of humanity, warm participation and emotion.
