“Nightscenes” – Solo exhibition of Louisa Kakissi

A night walk in some island’s alley makes you feel strange. The houses that change appearance, color, volume, substance in the light of the street lamp, surprise you. You begin to understand the images, which suddenly come to life and pull you like a magnet. The night awakens, with its mystery, symbolism and magic, existential concerns. You feel small, insignificant in front of it. It’s kind of like a game. After all, does what you see really exist? What is behind it? The exploration never ends. I’ll be back looking. “Nightscenes” is a series of oils paintings on canvas. Let’s let the viewer enter their world.
